Scott was born in Houston Texas and graduated from the University of Houston in 1996. He has a thirty-year background in the insurance industry. Scott started out as a licensed solicitor in his father’s multi-line agency, where he serviced clients’ auto, home, life, health, and commercial insurance needs for ten years. During these years, he discovered a strong desire to help people protect and maintain their sense of security. He worked to expand his industry knowledge and hone his skills, earning his designation as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
In 1999, Scott transferred to the operations side of the insurance business, where he has managed the defense of litigated property and casualty claims for over twenty years, protecting clients from exposure to their personal assets from third-party lawsuits. He moved to the North Dallas area in 2015 with his wife and daughter. They also have a daughter in Houston, and a son in Austin. As his father taught him, Scott built the foundation of his insurance career on servicing his clients’ needs as if they were his own.
